Throw the donut and run

You get a very, very bad feeling about the two cops, and you toss the donut in the biggest one's face and take off running. You manage to find a good hiding place behind some trash cans in an alley. You crouch down, trying to pant as quietly as possible. You hear the cops finaly drawing toward you. They argue about checking the alley, but they eventually decide against it... but only after several close calls. You do, however, hear them say;

• "We'll get her. There's nowhere she can go."
• "We'll get him. He can't have gotten too far."
• "Forget it. It's not like they can know about it, right?"
