Throw a chess piece at the black lion

You pick up the alabaster eagle and hurl it at the black lion. The eagle piece bounces off the lions nose and shatters on the floor. The lion roars again, making the chess pieces on the board shake. Then, you hear a loud bird call, like that of an eagle coming close.
