You point at the blue-tailed mermaid and she eagerly swims over to you. She clasps your hand so the azure gem is held between you. You can feel it pulsing against your palm. Then she pulls her hand away, taking the gem along with her.

"Got it!" she says. "Guess I don't have to share my boyfriend after all."

She turns, about to swim off. You grab her wrist before she can get away.
