The Harbor

You have to ask around a bit, but a helpful merchant eventually decides to show you the way to the harbor. In order to get there, you're forced to travel through a big tunnel on the far end of town, which passes straight through the red mountain. Upon finally reaching the other side, you're greeted by bright sunlight and a cold, salty breeze. There's relatively few buildings here, but you still feel as if though you're in a city thanks to the tons of crates, bags and jars loaded on top of eachother, forming pillars and labyrinths of their own. In the distance, you see a clear, green ocean that cuts through the horizon.
However, despite there being hundreds of people in the crowded streets, you have no idea where you should go to in order to find a job. As thus, you walk up to a male elf knotting a fishing net next to a large crate.
"Help you find anything?" he mumbles without looking up as you approach.
"I've been told I could find a job here." you reply. "Do you know who I'd have to ask?".
"Well, if you're looking for mercenary-work, you should hurry on over to 'The Impaler', Faraj the Sailor's ship. He's going to gods-know-where, and he's bringing a bunch of mercenaries with him.".
The elf then looks up at you, and smirks slyly. "Of course, if you're looking for a job on the 'wrong side of the law', you should head down to the 'Slutty Mermaid' at the far end of the docks. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, the local crimelord might have a job or two.".
After thanking the elf for the information, you decide to:
- Hurry on down to the docks before 'The Impaler' leaves.
- Head down to the 'Slutty Mermaid' and find the local crimelord.
