The Grand Arena
Entering the temple, Bianca, Morrigan, Clair, Heather, and Yuffie all step forward with excited and nervous looks. Most of them have never done anything like this before, who knows what could be for store for them in this place? They start in a small stone room in the temple with a strange pedestal with a glowing blue orb on top of it with a single hallway past it into the temple.
The girls all look to each other. "Lets do this." Yuffie says confidently, stepping towards the hallway. The girls don't know each other very well at this point and simple go to follow, stepping up to the pedestal. It identifies itself as a challenge terminal and suddenly lights up.
"This is a challenge terminal. By pressing the buttons on a challenge terminal you are deciding you want to compete in a challenge. Challenge terminals each have a designated reward attatched to them that you will recieve after winning the challenge. To start a challange, the right amount of players must press a side button to designate they are ready. Each challange includes different amount of players designated by the amount of buttons. This challenge has five buttons so it is a five player challenge.
Clair sniffs. "This thing is crazy."
"After pressing all the buttons indicating all players are ready you must wait for another team at another challenge terminal to be ready. This might take some time, so wait at challenge terminals as long as you feel is right. Whenever all players are ready you and the other team will be teleported to your challenge and the individual challenge will be explains there. The reward for this particular challenge is a series of tips on the beginning part of your section of the temple. Good luck."
"Tips sound kind of nice. They could warn us or tell us what is coming up so we can be ready." Bianca said addressing the group. "Maybe we should do it."
"Yeah, but it'll slow us down. Tips are not getting us anywhere. Lets just get started!" Yuffie says with a grin.
Clair nods in agreement. "Yeah, lets just get started. Plus, we don't even know how long it'll take for another group to challenge us."
Heather then shakes her head. "I don't know, we could just as easily lose time if we go ahead unprepaired. Something could happen to one of us."
Yuffie then looks over to Morrigan. "Well, your the tie breaker. Should we try out the challenge or go ahead and risk it and get started?"
