The Fox exchanged glances with the Mevolisk.

The fox glared at the Mevolisk, snarling, daring it to attack. The Mevolisk made no move, instead staring fixedly at the cub, who had circled back to view the battle. Following his adversary's gaze, the fox spotted the cub as well. His flames grew hotter as he barked a warning.
The Mevolisk saw this as an opprotunity, and leaned forward to strike. The fox, however, had dissapeared in a wisp of smoke. Looking about, the Mevolisk desided to give up the chase since the cub had escaped. Without warning, the fox leaped upon the Mevolisk from behind, killing it with a swift bite to the throat.
Present Day
Akira was stuck on an uncharted island in the middle of nowhere. He had gone on a cruise across the Pacific, but the boat had mysteriously sunk, leaving him stranded on a deserted island. Sure, Akira was an eighteen-year-old boy who was capable of a great many things, but nothing could have prepared him for this.
What should he do?
