Tell them your story.

From Create Your Own Story

You tell them about yourself, how you were sold by your step-dad just recently, and how you are actually a virgin. It will probably get around fast enough anyway, you realize. You open up to them and realize these girl's could really become your friends if you wanted. And friends could be a very useful thing in a place like this. None of them seem like they would be open to the idea of escape, so you decide to keep that a secret to yourself for now. You and the three girls spend the rest of the night talking, you sharing stories of life outside of slavery, them sharing experiences of life within. Josephine, the red-head, even opens up a little and tells the group how she came to be here.

"I've been a slave for as long as I can remember. The people who owned me kept me for a long time. I was used as bait to lure little kids away from their parents. They'd take me to carnivals, malls, parks, whatever really. I would make friends with some little kid and convince them to get an icecream with me or something that would get them to leave. It was pretty easy most of the time. Kids are trusting. I'm pretty sure that's how they got me in the first place. Anyway, the kids would stay with us long enough to call our owners Mommy or Daddy and then they'd be sold. Fake papers are easy to get for little kids. Anyway. I got too old to be playing at playgrounds without being noticed. It looked strange when I walked up to little kids to talk to them. So... here I am."

Overall you feel good about your choice to befriend these girls. A few allies in unfamiliar territory couldn't hurt, that was for sure.
