Tell him it's okay if you go to the police station with him

You stand back as Deputy Stuart and the other policeman exchange a few more sentences. It seems as if there is paperwork to be processed at the police station, and they need Deputy Stuart for it.
"If it's okay," you start to say, "I can go to the police station with you."
The other policeman agrees, and it's settled. The paramedics start racing towards the hospital and the firefighters go back to their own station, leaving you, Deputy Stuart, and the other policeman behind. You get into the backseat of the police car as they drive you to the police station. You look behind and watch as the crowd disperses from the area.
Once you're at the police station, the accompanying policeman disappear as you sit in the waiting lounge. They told you that they'd "deal with you" when Deputy Stuart finishes processing some paperwork.
You fiddle with your fingers as time passes. You feel somewhat guilty about pushing the cameraman out of the window, but ultimately he deserved it. You just hope he's okay. You never meant to hurt him badly.
When Deputy Stuart comes to pick you up, you're surprised that it's barely noon. You feel like time has passed by so slowly.
He walks you into an interrogation cell. The entire room is consists of a single table, three chairs, and an overhanging light. The walls are a solid dark gray with padded walls, making the room soundproof, and the floor is made up of cold concrete.
You and Deputy Stuart sit down in the chairs. "You're not in trouble now," he reassures you, "at least I hope you aren't. A pretty woman like you shouldn't be getting 'erself into too much."
You let out an uncomfortable laugh.
"So, the man was on the tree next to your window. What was he doing there?"
