The pirate standing guard near the beginning of the tunnel, a bored reptilian humanoid, seems bored and disinterested with his duties. Indeed, you're not even sure if he's fully awake, the way he seems to be leaning against the the wall. This gives you a clever idea, and using your profound intelligence you modify your science pistol's sonar setting. It fires a high pitched pulse at the lizard man. His eyes widen then roll backward as he falls to the ground. Blood pours out of his ears and nose.
