Dakila seems more helpful and you take him with you. You walk 3 miles and Dakila opens his biscuit packet saying "Let's take a break, pops." You sit under an old tree and eat biscuits. You see that Dakila is sharing his biscuit with a colony of ants. But you don't say anything. It's good to see that, your dumb and selfish son, sharing his meal! In an apocalypse?! You smile and say "Let's go, Dak. We will need biscuits when going back, too." You continue walking. When you see the gas station, you say "Yay!" There is nobody here, vehicle or pedestrian. When you approach one of the pumps, you hear a gunshot. Like one coming out of a shotgun. Thank god, It's from the inside. A hairy guy in front of a pump says "I have a weapon! You can't pass me. If you give me what I need, I may let you take some gas.
"OK, Pal. Chill out. We can work this out."
"So, we can talk terms, eh?"
"Yes, yes. Of course."
The guy lowers his shotgun and says "I need batteries. You give me batteries, I let you take gas."
Well, you DO have batteries but you will decide what to do.
So, what do you think?
- Just give him the batteries, gas is more important.
- No! Never! Batteries are very important! We can find gas anywhere!
- Ask for a minute to talk with Dakila and make a plan to take him down.
- Can't we just give him money?
