Stay In the Room

From Create Your Own Story

Patiently, you wait and look around the room. You are pretty sure it was the empty storage room the school sometimes used as a nurse’s office. The Vice Principal was a paramedic years ago, so he's become the ‘official’ non-official nurse. Small flat boxes of paper line the floor on the right wall. On the left side is the door, a cloth screen to cover the window, and folded blankets packet with other basic comfort supplies. You sit up, a little pain staken, and the Vice Principal walks in. “Hey. Are you doing alright?’ He asks to walk in with a glass of water and ibuprofen. He hands them to you, then sits in his stool from earlier. “You were out for a few minutes.” “Is that bad?” You are unsure of the realism. “Nah, you're fine. The worst thing I can say is a minor concussion. Is there someone to take you home?” “No, I drive myself.” You reply. He gives a weighted heave. “Wait here, I’ll bring someone.” He says, standing up and leaving the room.

About 10 minutes later…
