You try to come up with an alibi when you spot a piece of a ripped up ticket stub heside a wastebasket. "I was at the movies. In fact, there's a bit of the stub right there." You hand it to him, thankful that you had ripped through the date when you had tried to throw it out.
"Very well, that helps a lot. What did you see?"
You end out discussing the movie for a bit. The cop seems to be buying your story, but you are a bit nervous.
