Sob to yourself inside the trash can

You sob. You snivel. You hug your knees and feel sorry for yourself.
You're so busy being morose you barely notice the sound of an approaching vehicle. You do notice when you're lifted into the air. The lid is popped off the can and you're spilled out into the rear of a garbage truck. The smell is much worse inside the truck and the feel of slime under you makes you feel like barfing again.
There's a loud clunking noise and the ceiling begins to descend towards you.
