The doctor smiles. "It's a wonderful place. Not every legacy of the warlord is a cruel one; he left more than the virus behind, even if accidentally.
"You see, his empire did not crumble when he died, it merely changed. It has become a republic, led by a council of senators from every sentient race. No single species to this day has ever sought to split off or become independent. It has been the longest period of peace and prosperity that the galaxy has ever known.
"There are trillions upon trillions of species in the known universe, and hundreds of thousands of those are sentients. It is an extremely populated place, but at the same time extremely empty. There are systems where nothing lives, but similarly there are systems containing multiple homeworlds.
"Of course, there are only women." She smiles. "Which is, ah, the point of bringing you here. You'll need to work your way through as many as you can in order to cure the virus."
She winks. "Though I'm sure you won't mind. Do you have any more questions?"
