Suddenly the driver hits the brakes. Your head whips back and then you're lunged forward. After this rude awakening you realize the book is gone. You feel around the floor for it while the other passengers are in a state of confusion. You look at the seat next to you and becomes aware that the woman is gone. In the middle of the seat there is a pile of smoking ashes and in it you spot the woman's gleaming sewing needle and a small, charred piece of paper with the characteristic page colour of the old crumpled book.

You:

• Call the driver and say that a passenger is missing
• Rush out of the bus to see what casued the sudden break
• Shout that you've been robbed
