Trevor says hello as you sit down, but mostly seems engrossed in his book. A few minutes into the ride, you start singing to yourself quietly, an old habit that you just can't shake. Trevor glances over once in a while, eventually seeming to genuinely be enjoying your song. Once you finish, he speaks.
"Peter, that was... Really good. You should join choir. We'd love to have you." He says, showing real sincerity in his words. "You know, there's a musical in the works right now, and one of the backup singers had to drop out. It's far from an illustrious position, but you should think about it. I was going to join but hell, you're way better than me. Since they need another man, Ms James might even let you in without an audition."
You sit there without really responding. You've always secretly wanted to perform, but you've never worked up the nerve to audition. So an opportunity like this... Can you really give it up?
