Shout out a challenge to the unseen monster

"Who's there?" you call out, your voice confident, strong, and feminine, your many years of experience with combat allowing you to conceal your fear and uncertainty. "Speak up! This is Lord Kellar's private property!"
There is nothing but dead silence for several seconds. Then, your trained ears detect a faint sound - heavy breathing. You can't tell whether it's coming from a human, animal...or monster. The only thing you're certain of is that whoever - or whatever - is there is very large and powerful.
Suddenly, there is a flash of movement, coming right at you with inhuman speed. With your super-quick reflexes, you have time to fire a single shot from your revolver before the creature, whatever it is, is upon you, knocking you to the cold, damp dirt and sending your gun flying. You scream in pain as several razor-sharp claws rake across your ample chest.
You finally see what is attacking you. It is a bear - a very large bear, and very angry from the wound in its side from your bullet. The bear draws back a massive paw to slash you again.
