She goes and asks Julian directly

It would be better to be direct with Julian, making him explain why he would be hiding something that would be important to the research.
She went down to Bashir's quarters and pressed the button, it took a few minutes but Julian eventually answered the door in a robe.
"Oh hello Jadzia, what brings you here this evening?"
"I was looking at your research logs about the signal when I found that for whatever reason you linked that to a private record of yours. I wanted to know why you had that there, why can't I see it?"
"Oh, Jadzia, um, that is a record to a...note I made that possibly, maybe someone on staff at the station was creating the phenomena, I thought that because of a data flux distortion I found. It doesn't apply now though, it's coming from Trivas."
"What was it really? Tell me," Dax pried.
"Data...flux...distortion. I'm rather busy at the moment Dax," He said, shuffling her out.
Does Dax drop it or does she keep going?
