Without thinking for a second, Serenity gives out a yelp and springs into the air by jumping off her chair. She first scans her body to see if the eight legged crawler was on her and then her desk to see if it was still there.

Sighing in relief and then inhales deeply with annoyance, Serenity sits back down onto her chair and types furiously.

Frowning at the cruel joke, Serenity then widens her eyes at the next line of text.

Serenity darts her eyes, thinking of a way to justify her lie.
