Rise slowly to your feet and ask Katy to meet you after school

You pause for an instant to collect yourself, then rise to your feet. You focus your gaze on Katy.
"Would you like to meet me after school?" you ask, speaking softly.
Katy smiles. "Yes, Brandon, I would like that very much."
You make arrangements to meet in the library so you can get your homework done before leaving the school building. Then you slip out of the showers, dry off, dress and get out of the locker room before a teacher can spot you.
By 4 p.m. you and Katy are done with homework. You walk out the front gate holding hands.
"Where to?" Katy giggles.
