July 24, 1998, evening. There has been a lot of grisly murders in the Arklay Mountains near the town of Raccoon City. The survivors of the attacks say that the attackers were some kind of monster. And the victims were apparently eaten. The S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team was sent in to investigate but the contact with them was lost some hours ago. Now Alpha Team is going to be sent in to find out what happened to the Bravo Team and continue the investigation.
