Rescue/Steer to the right

I slam the wheel to the right, missing a truck and plowing through a set of campaign signs on the road. I pull the wheel back to the left, while getting some pills from the glove compartment. I have to look up every couple of seconds, but I finally get the bottle out, tilting my head back and taking two of the green pills inside, and swallowing them dry. After a few minutes, I even out, and take the rest of the drive with the radio on to the Alt Rock station. I try to take my mind off the situation at hand, but can't, and finally pull into the parking lot of the complex. I receive a text message almost immediately after parking. Pulling my phone from my North Face's pocket, I check it out. It simply reads...

"Ten O' Clock, April. Time is ticking."

and after that, there's a picture. Alex is tied to a chair with someone behind him, holding a knife against his throat. I stifle a gasp, and put the phone away almost immediately. However, there's another text.

"I saw you pull up. I know what you are going to do. Good luck with it."

I put the phone back before anyone else can reach me, and get out of the car. Looking up, I see someone in a window look out, then retreat back in, closing the curtains behind him. I check the gun one more time, and look for the right room on the building list. Sure enough, it's in the building that window-man retreated into. I find the room, and check the number, taking a deep breath. I have to enter room 574.
