I nervously head up the stairs, feeling the gun in my coat pocket. I worry that whomever lives in 574 will kill me, and decide that maybe I should just shoot them when they open the door. But then I think of Alex. He needs me, and I have to do as this psychopath says. Finally reaching the fifth floor, I head down what seems like twenty hallways before reaching 574. I notice a small inscription under the number. It's a black and gold plaque reading "April Haddaway, Permanent Resident". I rub my eyes hoping it's just a side effect of the medicine I took back in the car for my... condition. However, it's still there. I reach for the handle and see that it is surprisingly unlocked, and the key-card reader has a card sticking out of it. They want me in there. I push the door open, and slowly enter the room.
