You stay perfectly still as the sounds of someone approaching grow louder. Then you hear them pass by, heading toward the sound of the bell. You then hear the trapped girl begin to let out desperate screams. You're too far away to hear her words, but the tone of her voice is unmistakable. The bell clangs loudly and it sounds like she's pleading. Then you hear panic rising in her voice, and at last a loud, high-pitched wail. At almost the same instant, there's a loud BOOM above your head and you see the flash of a firework. One of the other girls has lost the game.
For a moment, your mind is filled with a morbid curiosity. Which of the other girls had just been eliminated? Who would buy her, and how much would they be paying? You even wonder what's happening to her right now. A part of you wants to go watch. What do you do?
