Before the Portuguese galleon can fire, Midnight smashes into her flank in a great noise of splintered wood, piercing the hull below the waterline. The ship almost immediately begins to list... It is clear that she will sink in the Rio Amarillo's piranha-infested waters in a matter of minutes. The sailors on board are panicking, but their captain harshly commands them to prepare for battle.
