"What happened yesterday? I think I might have gone unconscious or gotten a concussion. Did something happen?" you say, hesitant you might scare off Elizabeth with your seemingly insane questions, but she seems quite comfortable around you. "What? You can't tell me you don't remember the fancy dinner we had at the French restaurant uptown! You'd been saving for weeks to take me!"
You take a step back confused at what she was saying. "I went on a date with Elizabeth and can't remember it?" you think in astonishment.
"You're the best boyfriend ever for taking me there on our one month anniversary!" she says leaping into your arms. Her gleeful face buries itself in your chest as you take a step backwards, nearly losing balance. "ONE MONTH?!" you think almost in a panic, "This has to be some sort of dream or cruel prank! There's no way I can not remember having a girlfriend for a month."
