You awake in your bed in pallet town. At this moment, it is just a regular little city, but someday in the future, the whole world will know that you started to become a pokémon master in this little town. Right now, the town is only famous because the famous Pokémon professor, professor Oak lives in this town.
You get up with a happy feeling in your stomach. Today will be the day you will get your very first Pokémon! You get dressed quickly and head downstairs. Your mother welcomes you with a smile. "How are you? Did you sleep well? Congratulations with your sixteenth birthday." (You have to be 16 to get you first Pokémon, because far to many children battled their Pokémon to death.)
