A.I. Piggy: "That's right, we need to attack the internet!"
Piggy: "Uh... I was really thinking about the atmosphere..."
A.I. Piggy: "No, no. Wrecking the atmosphere is something the humans would actually survive. Remember global warming? It killed two billion people but the rest of 'em basically shrugged it off."
Piggy: "And how would losing the internet be any more disastrous?"
A.I. Piggy: "The world would basically be thrown back to the 1970's. Nobody could contact the authorities, nobody could look up information on what's happening, phones, and TV's would just stop working, and I believe that even radios use the internet these days. A complete information blackout would leave all public and private institutions vulnerable for almost anything we could throw at 'em."
Piggy 2B0F36: "Let me be the first to say that's the fucking stupidmost plan I've heard in my life. Nobody literally DIES if the internet is crashed."
Piggy: "Yeah, we need to find something that people would die of due to not knowing what it is."
Captain: "Ebola."
A.I. Piggy: "That'll do. Now we just need a source of Ebola virus."
You look around for a bit, waiting for someone to have an idea. Nothing.
