You are struck by an overwhelming idea that the universe and all matter in it will ultimately fall into nothingness due to proton decay. And while it will last a googol years until that event is finalized, for the last 99.999999% of the time the universe will nevertheless be a lifeless void with nothing but supermassive black holes, the Alphabet Bird, and the very few immortal beings.

Piggy: "Oh, wow."

You then shake this awful feeling off, and continue on your way to the post office. You peer inside for a bit.

Piggy: "Does anybody here speak english?"

Post clerk: "I do. What's the matter?"

Piggy: "Can you come and translate for a few locals? I was lost in the jungle and accidentally stumbled into their yard."

Post clerk: "Nah, I can tell them the story the next time one of them comes around asking about it."

Piggy: "Ah, that's excellent I was g..."

Suddenly, for some reason, the universe ceases to exist. The few immortal beings are very confused. The Alphabet Bird comes over to explain, that this particular universe existed in a temporary state, and now that the state has collapsed, all natural laws have been warped so that matter in its accustomed form can no longer exist. The universe does continue on in another state, however in such that is unfathomable to the residents of this universe.

One of the immortal beings: "Not this shit again."
