Remembering the essay she spied among the rest of the mess in Andrew's room Alice gets an idea. "Maybe there's another way I can pay for the repairs?" Andrew looks up from computer and says "Oh, what do you mean?"
Alice proudly states "I noticed you assignment on the floor there. I'm a straight A student, maybe I could help you with your essay writing? If you're interested we could do some tutorial sessions after classes Wednesdays, I usually charge $25 a hour, but if you help me out with my phone, I'll do it for free. And I guarantee you'll get an A."
Andrew mulls the idea over in his head, she can almost imagine the gears turning in his head. "Alright, we can do that. but I've got to get going if I'm going to get your phone back to you today. Come back at around 9 pm, and I should have it fixed."
Alice gets up to leave.
"But remember, you now owe me 10 hours of your time, I need an A in ancient Egyptian history or I'm going to lose my scholarship."
Alice loathes the idea of spending more time with Andrew in his gross basement room, but a girl's gotta do what a girls gotta do right?
