As you call out to the bunny girl, she turns her head towards you, giving you an alert, yet innocent gaze. You can feel your heart skip a beat or two, and you decide to start off with an act of kindness rather than a direct compliment.
"You look wiped out," you comment, stopping in front of her. "Need some water?"
Amelia gives you a partially relieved gaze. "In all honesty, that'd be awesome. I forgot my water bottle today."
You nod, slinging your bag over to your front and digging your water bottle out for her. You generally don't have use for a water bottle, but, knowing that you were planning to pursue a girl like this, you thought ahead.
"Thanks!" she chirps, taking the bottle and gulping down the water within it without a single thought on whether you had used it before (which you had). She must really be parched.
After a surprisingly long while of her drinking, she finishes with a refreshed "ah", handing the bottle back to you. She nearly emptied the damn thing.
"You're the new human student, right?" she queries, leaning back and crossing her legs.
"That'd be me," you confirm.
"I'm Amelia, the head of the track team," she replies, holding a hand out to shake, which you accept. "I also play soccer, tennis, baseball...heck, I play basically anything." She giggles cheekily.
Though your stalking research has already keyed you in to most of this knowledge, you pretend as if this is all new to you. "Nice to meet you," you reply kindly. You decide to sit down beside her, which she doesn't object to.
She looks over to you, smiling. "Do you play any sports?"
- "Of course. I was one of the top athletes in high school!"
- "Well, I used to play a lot."
- "Heh, I can't remember the last time I picked up a ball."
