Iris: How much do you know about nymphs?
You: From what you said and according to mythology, they are earth spirits. Deities that protect the earth from any harm. They personify themselves as beautiful maidens inhabiting the sea, rivers, woods, trees, mountains, meadows, etc.
Iris: Good!
You:.....you told me that... I’m a nymph, right?
Iris: Technically NO! Once a human dies their souls incarnated into an angel or demon then reincarnated as a human again, but nymphs have had the form and lived on this earth since Day 1 Year 0. If a human were to somehow die, a nymph could inhabit the body and save that human’s life.
You: So they would possess that person’s body?
Iris: No. Your body, mind, and spirit are different entities but work together like primary colors to-.
You: Please stop referencing to colors.
Iris: Do you want to know this or not!? Spirit is what god gives in order to live in the after life for a while and to make stuff come to life, a mind is the result of the spirit.
You: What?
Iris: Okay. This is where your thoughts and personality comes from! *point to head* And spirit *place hand over heart* is the reason it functions.
You: Oh..So they can’t control a person’s body?
Iris: They can’t control it completely. In the unconscious and subconscious mind, feelings and memories that linger in the soul’s former life may come into play.
You: So when I go unconsious and glow blue...and waterbend-
Iris: Water what?
You: Nevermind, when weird stuff happens to me, it’s because of the nymph?
Iris: YES! ^_^
