Malinovyĭ: Say goodbye to Aelita and drive one of the rovers to a nearby lake

From Create Your Own Story

You tell Aelita to take it easy until the others return. You walk to the cargo hold of the ship where you find one of the ship's two rovers. You jump in and fire up the engine; everything seems to be in good working order. On your descent in you noticed a small lake only a few miles away. Your many years of experience have taught you not to joy ride while using the rovers, as you've seen many young explorers do in the past. You never know when you might need to make a quick escape, and the rover is a great way to do so. After about five minutes of travel, you arrive at the small lake. You step out of the rover and take a closer look. The water is a strange bluish-grey, with a silver reflective film on top. The water is very still. You lean down to take a closer look when you hear a small splash. You look across the lake to see a grey-skinned stem with what appears to be an eye on the end looking at you. It rises about six feet off the water.
