Even if it is a trap, you figure your chances for freedom are far better in the woods then they are in a crowded city. Fortunately, the slave market is only two blocks from the city limits, and you make you way out the back door un-spotted.
It takes you roughly two hours to get to the forest, as an unsupervised naked human woman would draw far too much attention, and slipping by wolves unnoticed is no easy feat, considering how good their noses and ears are. But somehow you manage to get to the woods without incident, though there were a few close calls.
The only thing on your mind now is to get as far from the city as possible. You run as fast and as far into the woods as your legs will allow, and by sunset your legs collapse on you. Heavy with breath and your throat dry with thirst, you try and get back to your feet, but something catches your attention. Running water, and... voices.
