Katie thought she knew where she was going. She had already driven many, many miles in this trip - of course she was still going the right way. It didn't even matter when her GPS decided to run out of power in the batteries. Katie simply switched to her road map and continued driving. The last town she had driven through was Greenville, and according to the map she was using, she just had to follow the country road JJ up into the hills. It had been a small town, a really small town that had barely a hundred residents. In fact when Katie stopped for a quick checkup on her car, the old greasy man gave her a few longing stares as she went to wait on the bench. He had taken a while to check her car, and Katie found that part of the reason was because he kept looking over at her. She crossed her legs in nervousness and continued to read the magazine she had bought.

"Alright, that will do it." the man told her with a disgusting grin, his eyes stripping her.

"Don't you have a wife?" Katie questioned, noticing the ring on his hand.

"Wow! I know I'm handsome, but thanks for ASS-king." he said with a laugh as she frowned at his choice of emphasis.

Katie paid the perverted and whisked away in her car, nearly flooring it when she got to the road to get away from the man.

Unfortunately, in her haste to get out of the town, she had forgotten to check which road she took. She realized that roughly twenty minutes later, and figured that she could just read the next sign. Even worse though was that there was no road sign that came. It was at least an hour later that Katie came to the realization that she was lost. Surrounding her was nothing but trees, deep ravines, and massive rocky hills. There were dozens of ancient wooden bridges she had to drive over, each one she drove slowly and cautiously (as she was sure they weren't meant to handle cars - luckily hers was simply an economy-class car).

"Alright, I think it's time I turned around." Katie admitted to herself when a she turned a corner as a sudden fog rolled through the hills.

However, when Katie slowed down and began turning around, she heard a loud pop and bang followed by a ton of bouncing in the car. Katie stopped the car immediately, pulling off to the side of the road. She sighed out of impatience and opened the door, sliding out of the seat and into the chilly, foggy air. Katie looked around for a second as she realized that she could barely see further than twenty feet the fog had gotten so thick. And, although it was still somewhat bright out, she knew there couldn't be too many more hours of sunlight left since she had been driving for hours (her phone had died shortly after she saw that she had no signal). Remembering that her car had such sputtered to death, Katie continued onto walking to the front of her car. She pulled up the hood and inspected the engine. It looked fine as far as she could tell, she she left the hood and started walking around the car to inspect the wheels. The wheels on the right side of the car were fine, along with the back left wheel, it was when she looked at the very wheel she passed to get to the engine that she saw that the tire was flat. Katie swore and went back to the trunk, inside was her spare wheel, a small an inadequate thing, but she didn't have a choice in the matter. It was as she took it out that she realized that she was a little screwed. Katie had a replacement wheel but nothing to lift the car so that she could replace the wheel. Katie carried the wheel to the front of the car just to check that she couldn't lift the car herself somehow. She put her fingers under the metal and tried lifting. Katie tried with all of her might, using her old cheer-leading muscles to boost her strength. However, it wasn't enough as Katie lost her grip and suddenly found herself falling backward. She naturally kicked her arms out to try and catch something before she fell down the hill.
