From Create Your Own Story

You always liked the idea of walking. It made you feel confident, brisk, like you had a purpose. You liked watching people walk almost as much as you liked doing the act. It was always easy to tell where someone was going based on the way they were walking.
For example, the man that was currently walking a few beats ahead of you. His steps were continuous strides, each foot slamming onto the pavement. He had a destination, probably meeting up with some friends, maybe a girlfriend. Your focus was concentrated on how loud each of his steps were, you thought it was odd that such a slim male could produce that much noise. You wondered if he was consciously aware of how loud he was being.
Shaking your head, you force yourself to stop thinking about this loud-stepped man, and think about where you were going. You had an extremely long week, and needed to nurse your stress with the welcoming familiarity of booze. You could've stayed in, because your roommate has her mini fridge stocked with alcohol; but you always preferred drinking alone. Though your dorm was a few miles away, you decided to ditch your car, knowing that you intended on getting absolutely wasted.

As you approached the place you began to refer as your second home, the loud-stepped man entered the bar before you. It was weird, but every part of you said that you shouldn't go in. You didn't want to feel like a stalker; what if he knew you were following him? At the same time though...You really wanted to get drunk, and the thought of drinking with your chatty roommate made you want to cringe.
