You rally the villagers, hundreds of them cheering your name in the town square. You point them towards the true enemy, the king and his men in their castle. The people gather and create makeshift weapons. You step down from the wooden pavilion and begin walking up the path towards the castle, your army of hundreds walking behind you, calling for the death of the king. But attacking the castle needed a plan, not a full frontal attack without any equipment.
