Lay low and keep down

You keep your head down, figuring your comrades could easily crush the outnumbered landing parties. You figured wrong, however, and the Allies storm and take the beach. Just as you wondered if you should take a peek at what was happening, and make sure your countrymen were winning, you can here an American officer shouting orders. "That bunker up ahead, use the flamethrowers!"
You don't speak a word of English, but 'flamethrower' sure sounds awfully similar to 'flammenwerfer'. The American flamethrower spews flame into your bunker, and the last feeling you experience before dying ablaze in the sand is one of extreme and overwhelming pain.
