LVS: Find a hiding spot 2

As you look for a good hiding spot, you come across a stream. Just across the stream, you see a place where the bank is cut away and a bunch of roots and vines screen the area from view. You could probably hide there and not be seen at all, but you would have to be in water up to your waist. The only other good hiding spot you can think of would be up in a tree, but you're sure that wouldn't hide you as well as the overhang. Where do you decide to hide?
