"I see," Rin chuckles. "And what if one of our classmates happens to walk by while you're in the middle of being secretly nice to me?"
You pause for an second. "I suppose I could always say I'm only doing it to get you to spread your legs for me."
"I suppose you could say that," Rin agrees, her tone carrying a small amount of irritation. "But would you mean it?"
You pause again, this time for a bit longer, trying to find the correct way to voice your thoughts. Finally, you think you have the phrasing correct in your mind.
"No. That wouldn't be the only reason I'm doing it. Of course, if it happens that being nice DOES get me laid, that would be a terrific side benefit and I sure as hell wouldn't say no."
Rin giggles. "Spoken like someone who's been secretly doing good for years. What else have you been up to that would ruin your reputation as a sleazeball?"
