You throw aside your guns and draw the long knife Zeke had, in addition to his hatchet. "Pick a blade, Marie!" you say. "Let's finish this hand to hand!"

Marie retrieves Shania's blade from her body and approaches you. You circle her warily. Neither of you wants to make a lunge that will throw you off balance. You feint with your knife, trying to decoy Marie, but she doesn't fall for your feint.

Marie jabs at you and you easily dodge her blade's thrust. It didn't seem like she used her full speed. Your senses heighten even more as you continue to circle, your eyes never leaving Marie.

Suddenly, Marie moves forward with the speed of a striking snake, her blade pointed directly at your heart! You have a split-second to counter.

• Flash your blade up to block Marie's knife
• Slide your body out of the way with the speed of a sirocco wind
