You are Kensworth, John Kensworth. And you had spent the day just getting great news on a possible chance to audition for a new James Cameron film. Something about aliens, and colonization. Or was it a tragedy about love lost on the sea? You can't recall. You realize that the stinging in your eyes comes from a small cut below your right eye. It feels like a doctor had failed an attempt to replace your eyeball. You use your mouth and tongue and try to move the tape from your mouth, but you can't seem to get any leverage.
How the hell did I even get here? you ask yourself.
Then you take yourself on a step by step progression through the night while you attempt to force your wrists free from the binding ropes.
