Incubus: Pause and don't move, allowing the faerie to make the first move?

The two of you stand, you a half head taller, as though paused in time, only the air dares move. After what seems like an hour, without moving the faerie speaks slowly.
"Well..." You still don't even dare breathe in anticipation, "I guess we will have to find out later then won't we." The words were long and almost hesitant, but after the faerie gave your lips, so calm and unmoving, one last longing glance and then turned to leave.
You watch as the Faerie walks away its hips, though flat and skinny still managed to bounce to the sides as it walked away, crossing its legs in front of the other with each step. The faerie's feet were small and bare, the race itself known for the lack of footwear, and it walked upon the balls of its feet, which looked callous and rougher where they touched the ground as it walked.
Faeries being known for their petite bodies and wings most commonly flew through the air, and hovered slightly in the air. It was a rare sight indeed to see a faerie stand let alone walk. Enjoying the view as it walked away you barely notice to look up as it turns to disappear around the corner you think you see a beckoning look in its eye and even a wink. Then the faerie is gone from view and you are left in the vacant alleyway, left to ponder your ever growing hunger. As though sensing your acknowledgement your demon seems to growl impatiently.
