Humming sound (AWMAITG)

You follow the humming sound into a brighter room. The majority of it is occupied by some sort of gigantic contraption. A plaque next to it is written in some sort of alien glyphs, but somehow your brain interprets it as words. All it says is, "THE MACHINE".
As if responding to your presence, a console of some kind or other rises out of the floor. Maybe it controls this thing?
You know, it's never a good idea to mess with ominous alien technology, but... No, it's just never a good idea to mess with ominous alien technology.
