Breakfast goes like every Saturday. It's nice because there's no school, and you can just sit there looking at the cartoon characters on the back of the cereal box and trying to talk to mommy and daddy.

Mommy says, "I think mommy's got to go do some shopping this morning. You want to come with me honey?"

"No," you say, "I wanna stay and watch 'Fluffy Ponies.'" It doesn't come on for another hour but you don't want to miss it!

Mommy asks daddy if he wants to come, but he says no, he'll stay here. She shrugs and goes upstairs to get ready. You go into the living room to turn on the TV. It takes mommy forever to go away. But finally you hear her go. Oh, look! It's Miranda the Bold and her little cat Tray!

Cartoon Miranda has black hair instead of brown, and she doesn't dress like you, but she's got your name and so she's the cartoon you. You love her adventures. But there's too many commercials. You don't want that and you can't have that and mommy says you can't eat too much of that or you'll get fat. Boring. You're glad when someone walks in:
