There are no witnesses. Liz drags Headmistress Ward by her hair (to avoid leaving fingerprints) into what appears to be a disused former classroom, shouldering the door open since her hands are otherwise occupied. Judging by the amount of dust on the desks, no one has been in this room for years. Using her shirttail, again to avoid fingerprints, Liz closes the door behind her as she re-enters the hall.
Liz continues about her day, intending to kill Dr. Stormare on the weekend when she's allowed out the school. Unfortunately, Jamie has been freaked out about his mother's disappearance and soon enough the headmistress' body is found.
Detectives interviews everybody. Michelle and Christina mention that Liz claimed that the headmistress was experimenting on her. Its not long before a motive is found and even without DNA evidence, the police want the investigation closed as quickly as possible.
Liz is arrested and, deemed insane, she is sent to Arkham Asylum. The instant she reaches the asylum, she is stripped naked and tied to a whipping post. She is bullwhipped fifty lashes. This is the first of many whippings she endures at the asylum. The staff whip her to control her. And every year, she is whipped. Liz still believes that she has been sent there to silence her about the Flagel's control experiment.
