You sit her on the low table and pick up her foot. You can see a small degree of swelling around her lower ankle, and so you palpate softly in that area. Looking at her face, her eyes are closed and she seems to be in bliss.
"Your hands feel good, doctor," she says.
You report that her foot is indeed healing adequately. She seems disappointed that you're finished.
"Anything else you'd like to examine, doctor?" she asks.
