You curse your inner weakness, but give in to your temptation, and decide to go looking for a tasty looking mortal to satisfy your hunger.
Glancing over the cliff-edge, you notice that the valley below is still mostly devoid of activity, so now would be good time to strike. With that, you leap over the edge, and plummet the several miles to the bottom.
You don’t regret becoming a vampire, as such; in fact, you often consider letting that vampire bite you to be the best decision of your life, both from the benefits it brought you, and from the amusement you gained from seeing him then struck with his defences down. The heightened senses, lack of sleep, ceased aging, near-immortality, enhanced strength, speed, and stealth have all proved useful in your career as an assassin for the past three centuries. However, one thing you aren’t too fond of is the decrease in standards the change brought about in you. Unpaid murders are the most despicable thing imaginable for an assassin.
