Go for a drive to the beach

From Create Your Own Story

You grab your swim shorts and a towel, stuffing them into a backpack before heading out the door. Sliding into your car, you crank up the stereo, letting your favorite playlist fill the car as you pull out of the driveway. The day feels full of promise; the sky is a deep, endless blue, and the sun is already warming the world around you—a perfect day for the beach.

With the windows down and the music loud, you sing along, letting the rhythm of the road carry you. About halfway into the drive, you come to a fork in the road. You hesitate, weighing your options. The road to the left is the quickest route to the beach, but it’s also the main road and will probably be packed with morning traffic. To the right, the drive would be longer, maybe an extra 15 minutes or so, but the route is scenic, winding along cliffs that overlook the ocean.

The thought of winding along those cliffs, with sweeping views of the water glinting under the sun, makes your decision easy. Smiling, you take the right fork, settling in to enjoy the drive and the anticipation of the day ahead.
