You dress for school and walk downstairs. Your mother and her new husband glare at you, as usual.
"What's the matter, princess?" your stepfather says sarcastically. "You gonna bitch about your punishment last night? You're a worthless piece of trash, you know. I'm trying to keep this family afloat and give you a future."
You snarl at him. "Some provider you are, you drunk, abusive bastard!" You raise your hand and a bolt of lightning shoots out, striking him in the chest and dropping him to the ground, dead.
Your mother turns to you with an open-mouthed stare. "What the...?"
She's been just as bad to you as the scum on the floor. On the other hand, she is your mother.
